I’m one of those guys that every year goes out and buys a cheap hose roll cart. By about mid Summer I’m always kicking myself for not buying a more durable unit. This year I finally bit the bullet and after researching my options I ordered the gorilla unit. I wish I had done it years ago. Love it love it love it!

The construction of this unit is far superior to the several plastic units I previously had. It easily handles my 75 foot, 3/4″ diameter rubber hose that the old reels broke under. It is a quality piece that I’m sure will far outlast those plastic ones that only lasted one year before something broke. The Gorilla will surely go the distance.

Love the aluminum frame but wish the wheels were bigger, when the reel is full the wheels struggle.

Compared to other reels it’s head and shoulders above them in quality and engineering. (also price) It is still a little spindly however. I have 100 ft. of 3/4 in. hose on it and there is still room for more.

Great so far. Would like to see some sort of brake mechanism to keep the hose from unwinding when you start to pull. But otherwise it’s the best one I’ve used so far. Will be looking at other Gorrilla products given the quality of this reel.
