For years I’ve used various types of wheel barrels, at home and for for a part time business. I’m still very active as a senior member of society, always searching for ways to be able to continue performing outside projects. After reviewing the Gorilla 7 cu cart features, I decided to acquire the product. Great choice! Easy assembly and handles extremely well. Just finish a back yard project requiring stone removal and new mulch applied. Manually pulled very easily and even attached quickly to a club cart and JD tractor. The individuals helping with the project were on their phones searching for available units for themselves. Proof of utility and functionality. Gave the older wheel barrels away.

I have used the cart to move asphalt millings, screened loam, and rocks of all sizes. Have pulled by hand and with my zero turn, total of app 13 yards of material and rocks up to 130 lbs. No problems dumping even when filled higher than the sides. The large rocks I put the cart in the dump position and flip or roll the rock into the cart edge, lift the back while pushing down on the front till it locks in place, saves you from lifting the rock entirely. I have stacked stones in the cart to the edge. Aside from being dirty and inside scratches the cart is as new. Should last my lifetime.

Cart is great and well made. Tires are terrible and did not last a year before leaking, dry rotting and cracking. Expensive to go out and replace.

4.5/5 Rating. This is a nice “wheel barrow”/yard utility transporter. We have had other two-wheeled wheelbarrow carts and this is significantly better. It has excellent maneuverability and extra high clearance, thanks to the large tires, to go over most yard terrain. Other two-wheeled carts that we have used have minimal height clearance, resulting in them sometimes scraping the ground when lifting and rolling. Uneven terrain is show stopper for them, not the Gorilla cart.

Construction of the Cart is excellent and the assembly instructions were clear. Took about 40 minutes to fully unpack and assemble. Tub is made from tough plastic, either HDPE or PP.. Frame is welded steel then powder coated. Wheels/Tire are inflatable rubber and have a gripping tread profile. Handle is long enough for tall people so that your natural walking stride isn’t resulting in your feet constantly bumping into the back of the cart. The handle grip is wide enough for even the largest gloved hands. 7 cubic feet is a good volume that yields a decent amount of material transported (less trips), yet not too much to pull and dump. Initially, I was concerned that fully loaded with 7 cubic feet of heavy wet soil, would be difficult to move with my slowly weakening old man body, but no issues at all. My wife, also found it easy to work with.

My only issue is with the manual dumping mechanism action. It would be nice to have a spring assist to help with the dump mechanism as a full load of heavy stuff is difficult to get started. The other issue is the when you do try to dump, the cart moves as there is no wheel lock mechanism. Even a simple manual wheel lock system would make dumping heavy loads significantly easier as the cart wouldn’t move during the lift process. Don’t need on all four wheels, just back two.

Aside from the the two minor issues that I have, which is why I gave a 4.5/5 rating, I highly recommend this yard/utility cart over a wheelbarrow or other garden/yard cart.

GREAT CART, the only thing that would make this better is a drive motor when you have to pull stuff up s hill, i know no problem for you flat landers but…

A durable and well designed cart. Should have bought it sooner compared to the junk I’ve had in the past.

Love this cart. The steering is articulated such that it is “zero turn”, which helps greatly in its maneuverability. The dump feature is also nice.

Thus far, it has been excellent. Slight difficulty in assembly, but figured it out. Beats using a wheel barrow. The ability to move different types of medium and other things is great. Handles like a truck in maneuverability, awesome.
Only question is how it will stand the test of use and time.

So far so good. Plan to use for spreading dirt in the yard. Runflat wheels are a plus and dumping action saves shoveling time.
